aWARemote Server can't know the music directory, where you store all of your music files, so it takes the default music path of Windows. To be able to see your music files, open the server preferences und set the path to them.
To get this feature to work, it is important that aWARemote server is started on your computer. Also make sure that the server is allowed to access the network in your firewall. The firewall is mostly the cause of any connection issues.
This error should only occur on aWARemote 2.3.0 and below. Because the developers of Winamp changed the location where the saved playlists are stored with Winamp 5.64, aWARemote can't see them anymore when using this version or above.
The last Winamp version where you can see the playlists from within the app is Winamp 5.63. This error gets fixed with aWARemote 3.0.
Make sure that aWARemote server is running on the computer you want to connect to. If it is running, but you still can't connect, check your firewall settings. The server must have access to your network to accept connection requests. The firewall is mostly the reason why the connection can't be established.
Also, make sure that WiFi is enabled on your phone!
If it did work before and doesn't anymore, make sure that the IP address of your computer has not been changed. If it did, either edit your profile or delete and add it again.
Please check that the server is granted for connections in your personal firewall. If it is, you can also disable the firewall a short time to test if it works without. If it does, there is some configuration issue in your firewall.
Also make sure, that your Android device and computer are in the same network and that WiFi is enabled on your Android device.
In some cases it is also helpful to restart the access point or router you are using.
The reason of this issue sometimes is the server. If you have this behaviour, try to start the server in administrator mode by right clicking the shortcut and select "Run as administrator". This sometimes even works if you are logged in with a user who already has administrative right.
You can raise the new volume control overlay in every screen by pressing the volume button on your phone or tablet. If you are in Playback screen, there is also a menu item at top which will show the volume control overlay.
Follow these steps. They will fix this error in most cases.

aWARemote is not available in all countries of the world. If you are trying to buy the app from a country where the app is not available, you won't be able to buy or see it in Google Play Store. But there arealso other possible reasons why the app is not visible for you. Contact me and tell me the country you live in, so we can find a solution.
The Android operationg system restricts the access to the device for all apps by default. Apps have to ask for cetain permissions to gain access to certain functions and data. aWARemote asks for the following permissions:
- Network: aWARemote asks for this permission to be able to communicate with the server. - Write external storage: aWARemote stores the synced library information and cover thumbnails on the memory card of your phone (if present). Therefor, it needs the permission to write to the memory card. - Wake lock: While syncing, aWARemote needs to prevent the phone from going to sleep, otherwise the synchronization would be aborted. - Read phone state: aWARemote needs to listen to the current phone state to make the "Pause on call" feature work. It does not collect any data here, it just listens to whether the phone starts ringing or not.
